Who We Are
CrossCurrents: The Journal of Addiction and Mental Health informs and educates health care professionals about the latest developments in the addiction and mental health fields from a Canadian perspective. We focus on providing practical information that professionals can use to inform their work.
Each theme-based issue features professionally written stories, personal perspectives, research summaries and in-depth articles that stimulate debate and challenge readers to reflect on their practice in innovative ways. We also provide opportunities for front-line professionals to interact with one another and enhance their knowledge through online forums, blogs and quizzes.
Upcoming themes include schizophrenia treatment and recovery, prescription drugs, men’s mental health and addiction, technology in mental health and addiction, navigating the youth-to-adult transition and much more.
CrossCurrents is published by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, one of North America’s largest addiction and mental health research and clinical facilities.
